The Company
Sari Data Sdn. Bhd. is a Malaysian technology company that builds enterprise AI products for regulated industries. Where our sister company Acquro provides high-end consulting and advisory services, Sari Data creates the products — purpose-built software systems that institutional clients deploy inside their own environments.
The name “Sari” comes from the Malay and Indonesian word for essence — that which has been distilled to its purest form. It captures what we do: extract the essential knowledge buried in complex data, and deliver it in a form that is structured, verifiable, and actionable.
What We Believe
AI is transforming how institutions process information. But for organisations handling sensitive financial, medical, or government data, most AI platforms introduce unacceptable risk: data leaves your control, outputs cannot be verified, and liability remains with you.

Former Chief Architect at Yahoo, where he led 30+ M&A technical due diligences evaluating $2B+ in acquisition opportunities under CEO Marissa Mayer — the practitioner experience that produced CIMCalc’s evidence-based disqualification methodology. Senior Distinguished Architect at Autodesk, where he architected concurrent and collaborative product data for 5 product silos. Chair of the Innovation & Technology Committee at Etiqa Insurance (Maybank Group, $15B+ AUM across five ASEAN markets), providing board-level technology governance for one of Southeast Asia’s largest insurers.
Direct advisory experience with Malaysian sovereign institutions including MIDF/PNB (board presentations and M&A due diligence) and Khazanah USA. Ph.D. in Computer Science with Economics from UC Irvine — the dual-lens foundation that powers CIMCalc’s computational approach to investment risk. Forbes Technology Council member.
